She loves adjusting the whole family! She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is Webster Certified (aka pregnancy chiropractic), and also has an advanced certification in pediatric and infant chiropractic care.
Working with a pregnant mama throughout her pregnancy helps to support her body as it goes through huge physiological changes and it keeps the pelvis and ligaments of the uterus open for a baby to engage properly in the pelvis. It also helps with pubic bone pain, round ligament pain, acid reflux and general lower back/pelvic pain. Babies can be adjusted as soon as right after birth, which can be instrumental in helping their tiny amazing growing bodies to adapt and integrate the birthing process and any of the challenges that may arise (such as difficulty latching/feeding, colic, ear infections, constipation and torticollis).
Ultimately, getting adjusted helps to connect the communication between your brain and body (your nervous system) so that your body can be connected to its ability to heal, function and express life at the fullest! In other words, you don’t need to have pain or symptoms to come see a chiropractor - just the ability to support your body to unwind stress and be at its best expression.
