The local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, one of the country’s leading voices on mental health since 1979. NAMI Nevada County runs free support groups including the Family Support Group (2nd and 4th Tuesday monthly, in-person and Zoom) for adults with loved ones experiencing mental illness, and NAMI Connection for individuals living with mental health conditions. Run by people with lived experience, these groups offer genuine understanding, peer wisdom and community.
